Here you see my snowman tree! Wayne and I made most of the snowmen on it. My DH has a talent for drawing and painting and is very good with small items, like snowmen noses! He drew out the patterns and I sewed and stuffed them, made scraves, sewed on buttons and made hats for some of them. It was a fun project. Next month, February, will be Valentines.
We've had a very relaxing day here today. We had French toast and bacon for breakfast, watched a couple of parades, and ate beef stew and corn bread for lunch, with apple pie for dessert. Wayne has watched some football and I have been stitching and working on some craft items.
It is very cold here, 35 degrees. Fred has been sleeping in the utility room since it gets so cold at night. Maggie and AnnaBelle snuggle up together at the foot of our bed.
I hope each of you have had a peaceful New Year's Day and many Blessings for the New Year.

Awesome Barbara and Wayne!! Your the King and Queen of Snowmen. Wow, you two are so creative. The snowman are just so cute on the tree. Bet Nancy V. is drooling :-)
You have both done a gorgeous job with the snowmen and if you wanted to go into business, you could!! They are just adorable and I love that it was a group effort!
Happy New Year Barbara! What a cute snowman tree. I think it's wonderful that this is a project you did together with your husband. And, I love the sheer ribbon running through the tree.
That is AWESOME. You know how I love snowmen, and that you actually made them is so nice. What a great project. I love my snowman tree, and it was Heidi's idea to do it. The first year it was the stuffed ones mostly, then,
welllllllllll, they kind of expanded. Great job.
Your tree is just precious. All your snowmen have such sweet faces and I love there little scarves and hats.
Sounds like you had a nice day....stay warm and cozy. Linda
I just adore your snowman tree Barbara! I want to put up a winter tree for January and you have inspired me not to let the idea go. It looks so cute to see this and so cheerful now that Christmas is past. I will look forward to seeing it as a Valentine's tree in a month's time.
