The "snowballs" you see here came in my mail yesterday. They are from a lovely lady and wonderful friend, Nancy, who lives in South Carolina. I've never met Nancy in person, but she is a very caring, loving person. She is also a cross stitcher and does beautiful work and she likes to dabble in other crafts and the "snowballs" above is one of those crafts. They are actually "rag balls" and very beautiful. I have them in this carnival glass dish that was a favorite of my MIL's and they compliment my "snowman" tree very well. Thank you so much Nancy. These will be treasured forever.

I just saw rag balls on another blog and thought they would be found to craft. These were multi-colored but I like the all white especially in the winter. Linda

I was lucky enough to have real snow during the holidays, so I made only 2 snowmen this year. But you did a nice job!
Lovely!! You described Nancy perfectly. She does do beautiful stitching and crafts and not to mention decorating and baking. She's our own little Martha Stewart! :-)
