Fall and Halloween stitching.............

Stitching is coming along very well for me these days. I had to resign from my volunteer jobs at church, because of health reasons, and find that I am a more relaxed person and actually enjoy stitching more than ever. The below photo is what I am stitching on now. It is Waxing Moon Design, Harvest Blessings. I am stitching it on 14 ct. Aida called parchment and getting the exact look I wanted. Oh, I am stitching only the pumpkin with the leaves and acorns. I have some pumpkin fabric that I am going to use to make it into a hanging.

This next photo is a couple of freebies I've had forever and don't even remember where I got them from. Since my birthday is on Halloween I love all things that go along with Halloween.... candy corn, black cats, pumpkins, acorns, that Harvest Candy that have out, black and orange jelly beans and WITCHES! You also see the fabric I have for these designs, as I am going to make them into pinkeeps.

This next photo is another finish. It is Heart~in~Hand, Inspiration design. They came in individual cards, and you could either stitch with individually or all on one piece of fabric, which is what I did. I'm not sure what to do with this, but am leaning toward a fabric wall hanging.

I also have a couple of other projects that I am working on, and will share these with you in a few days.

The weather here in SW Missouri is just like Fall, and I am so ready for Fall to come, as it is my favorite time of year. I love the Fall colors, the leaves falling, and wearing Fall clothes. But what I like best about Fall, is sitting on my patio in the early morning hour (6:00 to 6:30 a.m.) with my cup of coffee, bundled up in a warm afghan watching the sun come up and the dew on the grass.

Blessings to All,
Barbara

What a perfect thing to sit wrapped up in an afghan and watch the sunrise! I too think autumn is the very best season and we are having real fall-like weather this week. You can come join me by the fireside on my CTS blog even. :) You are more than welcome my friend!

I think your taking a step back has been the right decision. It is good to be involved but sometimes we loose ourselves in the process and those of us with chronic illnesses need to beware of that. Your stitching is really moving along and I can hear it brings you joy in the process. I love all your autumn designs. The pinkeeps will be so adorable.

Hugs ~

It is good to read you are enjoying your stitching so much Barbara! Your Harvest Blessings will be beautiful, and I love the color. Can't wait to see your pinkeeps. The third design would be a pretty wallhanging or even a pillow.

Wrapped in an afghan, sipping coffee and watching a sunrise sounds like pure heaven. We will be able to do that this year too! Kevin just finished building a deck! But, it is still very much summer here. Have fun Barbara!

As soon as the chilly winds Abercrombie Polos initially start to blow every year as autumn sets in; people go to their closets Abercrombie Polos and pull out their sweaters dog coats and ed hardy Hats jackets to ensure that they are comfortable as the temperature drops. Your Ed Hardy Sale dog deserves this equal treatment so when you pull out yours, do Ed Hardy Sale remember to pull out your dog's warm dog clothes as well.If the night is chilly, but Ed Hardy Swimwear not quite freezing, even something as Ed Hardy Swimwear simple as a warm dog sweater will help you to keep your dog warm.
